Areca Capital Sdn Bhd today announced a 3:100 unit split for all unitholders of the Areca enhancedINCOME Fund (AeIF). Unit Holders who have maintained their holdings up to 21 July 2014 will be entitled for this unit split. For example, a unit holder with 1,000 units will get an additional 30 units after the unit split exercise, bringing his total unit holdings to 1,030 units after the split.
This will be the first unit split exercise for the Fund, and will lower the price of the Fund’s NAV per unit, making it more affordable for investors.
