ARECA CAPITAL DECLARES INCOME DISTRIBUTION FOR ARECA PROGRESSIVE INCOME FUND (APIF) AND ARECA STRATEGIC INCOME FUND 2.0 (ASTIF 2.0)

Areca Capital would like to announce the net income distribution for the year for the Areca Progressive Income Fund (APIF) at 2.00 sen and Areca Strategic Income Fund 2.0 (ASTIF 2.0) at 2.25 sen as of today.

APIF was launched on the 28th of February 2018. The fund aims to provide a medium to long term combination of income and capital growth. Since its inception, APIF has generated a total return of 16.24 % as of 30th of April 2020, as compared to its benchmark’s (Maybank’s 12-month fixed deposit rate) total return of 7.06%.

Launched on the 31st of May 2019, ASTIF 2.0 aims to provide a combination of income and incidental capital growth. Since its time of inception, ASTIF 2.0 has generated a total return of 6.99% as of the 30th of April 2020, as compared to its benchmark’s (Maybank’s 12-month fixed deposit rate) total return of 2.73% p.a.
