ARECA CAPITAL DECLARES INCOME DISTRIBUTIONS FOR ARECA PROGRESSIVE INCOME FUND 2.0 (APIF2.0) AND ARECA STRATEGIC INCOME FUND (ASTIF)

Areca Capital would like to announce the net income distributions for two funds as of the 9th of December, 2019:

Areca Progressive Income Fund 2.0 (APIF2.0) – 1.875sen per unit

Areca Strategic Income Fund (ASTIF) – 1.875sen per unit

Areca Progressive Income Fund 2.0 (APIF2.0) was launched on the 23rd of August, 2018, the fund seeks to provide its investors with a combination of income and capital growth. Since its inception, APIF2.0 has generated a total return of 9.7% as of 30th November, 2019, as compared to its benchmark’s (Maybank’s 12-month fixed deposit rate) total return of .4.2%.

Areca Strategic Income Fund (ASTIF) was launched on the 15th of May 2019. The fund aims to provide a combination of income and incidental capital growth. Since its inception, ASTIF has generated a total return of 3.6% as of 30th November, 2019, as compared to its benchmark’s (Maybank’s 12-month fixed deposit rate) total return of 1.7%.
