Areca Capital Sdn Bhd today declared a net income distribution of 3.0 sen (net) per unit for Areca equityTRUST Fund (AeTF). The income distribution will automatically be reinvested into additional units of the Fund at the Fund¿s net asset value per unit at the end of the day.

AeTF was launched in April 2007, the fund seek to provide investors with medium to long term capital growth. Since its inception, AeTF has generated total return of 199.1% as of 31 March 2017, as compared to its benchmark’s (1-year Average Returns of the funds under “Equity Malaysia” Non-Islamic category) total return of 82.4%.

AeTF has been ranked by Lipper as the best performing fund for the year ended 31 December 2016 under the following categories and winner of The Edge/Thomson Reuters Lipper Malaysia Fund Awards 2017:

2. Best Equity Malaysia, 5 years
