ARECA CAPITAL DECLARES INCOME DISTRIBUTION FOR ARECA STRATEGIC INCOME FUND 5.0 (ASTIF5)

Areca Capital would like to announce the income distribution for Areca Strategic Income Fund 5.0 (ASTIF5) at 2.25 sen.
The Fund invests in the Redeemable Preference Shares (RPS) issued by Kreasi Bersama Maju Sdn Bhd, which is a company controlled by the major shareholder of Sepang Gold Coast Group.
ASTIF5 looks to provide a combination of income and incidental capital growth. Since the fund started investing in October 2020, ASTIF5 has generated a total return of 8.95% as of 29th September 2021, as compared to its benchmark’s (Maybank’s 12-month fixed deposit rate) total return of 1.84%.
