ARECA CAPITAL DECLARES INCOME DISTRIBUTION FOR ARECA STRATEGIC INCOME FUND (ASTIF)

Areca Capital would like to announce the income distribution for Areca Strategic Income Fund (ASTIF) at 1.875 sen.

The Fund invests into the Redeemable Preference Shares (RPS) issued by AGB Properties Sdn Bhd. AGB Properties Sdn Bhd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Asian Pac Holdings Berhad which is a listed company on Bursa Malaysia.

ASTIF seeks to provide a combination of income and incidental capital growth. Since the fund started investing in June 2019 , ASTIF has generated a total return of 20.48% as of the 28th February 2022 , compared to its benchmark’s (Maybank’s 12 mont h fixed deposit rate) total return of 6.09%
