Areca Capital Sdn Bhd is re-launching our re-branded regional equity fund today. 

Areca growthTRUST Fund (formerly known as Areca Recovery Growth Fund) (“the Fund) was established pursuant to a deed of trust dated 12 November 2009 and was launched on 12 March 2010, with a targeted maturity date of 3 years. On 2 November 2012, Areca obtained approval from the Unit Holders’ of the Fund to remove the maturity date, change its objective and make further or consequential amendments of the Fund.

The Fund aims to provide investors with an opportunity of capital growth and is suitable for investors with appetite for high risk high return as it has large equity exposure to countries in the Asian region, including Malaysia. The Fund, which is benchmarked against the MSCI AC Asia ex Japan, has recorded a return of 10.1% for 2012, against its benchmark return of 6.6%
