Classification of Unit Trust Funds

Money Market Funds

These funds primarily invests in highly liquid, near term instruments, such as cash, cash equivalent securities, and high-credit-rating, debt-based securities with a short-term maturity (such as U.S. Treasuries).

Fixed Income/Bond Funds

These funds primarily invests in government, agency, municipal and corporate bonds, as well as money market instruments such as bankers acceptances and fixed deposits.

Equity Funds
These funds primarily invests in shares of different companies based on its investment objective.
Balanced/Mixed Assets Funds
These funds primarily invests in several asset classes. These can include equities, fixed income securities/bonds, property and cash.
