Areca Capital Sdn Bhd today declared first income distribution of 3.00 sen per unit for its Areca Islamic Cash Fund (AICF) for the financial year ended 30 September 2016. The income distribution will be automatically reinvested into additional units of the fund at the fund¿s net asset value per unit at the end of today.

AICF launched on June 2015, seek to offer investors regular income. Since its inception, AICF has generated a total return of 4.1% as of 30 September 2016, as compared to its benchmark¿s (Maybank Islamic 1 month REPO rate) total return of 3.5%.
