ARECA CAPITAL DECLARES 4.0 SEN INCOME DISTRIBUTION FOR ARECA EQUITY TRUST FUND

 

Petaling Jaya, 30 April 2019:

 

Areca Capital Sdn Bhd today declares a net income distribution of 4.0 sen (net) per unit for Areca equityTRUST Fund (AeTF). The income distribution will automatically be reinvested into additional units of the Fund at the Fund’s net asset value per unit on 02 May 2019 (Thursday).

 

AeTF was launched in April 2007, the fund seek to provide investors with medium to long term capital growth. Since its inception, AeTF has generated a total return of 253.7% as of 31 March 2019, as compared to its benchmark’s (Average Returns of the funds under “Equity Malaysia” Non-Islamic category) total return of 84.6%

 

We are pleased to inform that AeTF has been ranked by Lipper as the best performing fund for the consecutive two years under the 3 years, 5 years and 10 years category for the year ended 31 December 2018 under the following categories and winner of The Edge/Refinitiv 2019 Lipper Malaysia Fund Awards:

• Best Equity Malaysia, 3 years
• Best Equity Malaysia, 5 years
• Best Equity Malaysia, 10 years
