RM 2.22 MILLION INCOME DISTRIBUTIONS FOR ARECA CAPITAL’S INVESTORS

Petaling Jaya, 11 March 2019:

Areca Capital Sdn Bhd is pleased to announce today a total of RM 2.22 million income distributions for two of the funds under its management. The net income distributions for the two funds are as follows:

Areca Situational Income 2.0 Fund (ASI2.0F) – 4.50 sen per unit

Areca Progressive Income Fund 2.0 (APIF2.0) – 1.95 sen per unit

ASI2.0F was launched on 28 August 2017, the fund seeks to offer investors medium to long term combination of income and capital growth. Since its inception, ASI2.0F has generated a total return of 14.6% as of 28 February 2019, as compared to its benchmark’s (Maybank’s 12-month fixed deposit rate) total return of 5.0%.

APIF2.0 was launched on 23 August 2018, the fund aim to provide combination of income and capital growth. Since its inception, APIF2.0 has generated a total return of 3.7% as of 28 February 2019, as compared to its benchmark’s (Maybank’s 12-month fixed deposit rate) total return of 1.7%.
